2. Age Grade Rugby (U7s to U18s)
Adult
- 11.1 In adult rugby the RFU Competition Season (during which all RFU Competitions, merit tables and local leagues must be played with the exception of representative rugby, play-offs and 7-a-side or similar competitions) shall be:
- Season 2023-24 will run from Saturday 2 September 2023 until Monday 20 May 2024 save that in respect of:
- a. The Premiership, the Season will run until 8 June 2024 (unless otherwise notified to the Clubs);
- b. The Championship, the Season will run until 03 June 2024 (unless otherwise notified to the Clubs); and
- c. The Women’s Premier 15s, the Season will run until 24 June 2024 (unless otherwise notified to the Clubs).
- Season 2024-25 will run from Saturday 7 September 2024 until Monday 19 May 2025 save that in respect of:
- a. The Premiership, the Season will run until no later than the end of June (unless otherwise notified to the Clubs);
- b. The Championship, the Season will run until 16 June 2025 (unless otherwise notified to the Clubs); and
- c. The Women’s Premier 15s, the Season will run until 2 June 2025 (unless otherwise notified to the Clubs).
- Season 2023-24 will run from Saturday 2 September 2023 until Monday 20 May 2024 save that in respect of:
- 11.2 In adult rugby, non-RFU Competition matches can be played at any time during the year.
Age Grade Rugby (U7s to U18s)
- 11.3 In Age Grade rugby the Season shall be:
- Season 2023-24 will run from Saturday 2 September 2023 until Monday 6 May 2024.
- 11.4 Age Grade rugby activity must be played in accordance with RFU Regulation 15.
General
- 11.5 If the RFU Board of Directors consider that it is in the best interests of the game of rugby union in England (for example as a result of governmental health guidance), it may require that rugby activity, or parts of rugby activity, must cease in England or any part of it.
