Stats from the Red Roses' win in Newcastle

Dive into the top stats from the Red Roses' 58-7 victory over Scotland in Newcastle.

England secured a victory in their opening TikTok Women's Six Nations fixture against Scotland at Kingston Park, breaking the record for the most consecutive wins in the championship. Simon Middleton's side are now unbeaten in 20 games in the Six Nations.

We've broken down the top stats from the game, providing insight into the set piece, breakdown, and top performers from the ten-try victory.

OVERVIEW

TOP PERFORMERS

METRES CARRIED

Claudia MacDonald leads with the most metres carried in the game. The wing crossed twice in the first half and made 113 metres across 80 minutes.

TACKLES

Marlie Packer's defensive efforts put her at the top of the charts for tackles made in the game. The flanker made 15 tackles in total, with Tatyana Heard, Zoe Aldcroft and Lagi Tuima also making the top four.

Packer also scored a nine-minute hat-trick in the second half. Since the beginning of last year in the Six Nations, there have been just three hat-tricks and the Red Roses flanker has been responsible for two of them – also scoring three against Scotland in last year’s tournament. Lydia Thompson scored the other hat-trick against Italy in 2022.

DEFENDERS BEATEN

Sadia Kabeya brushed off 10 defenders during the game. She reaped the rewards of her powerful running with a try in the 50th minute.
